Starting next summer, Lufthansa will add new holiday destinations from Munich and Frankfurt, with focus on North America. The new US destinations are: Seattle, Detroit, Las Vegas, Orlando, Arizona and Anchorage. The company also announced one new destination in Asia: Bangalore.
New destinations from Munich (MUC)
Starting 1st of June 2020 there will be daily flights to Seattle, except Thursdays. The flight will take off from Munich at 3:30 PM and land in Seattle at 4:55 PM, then leaving Seattle at 6:45 PM and arriving in Munich the next day at 1:50 PM.
Starting 4th of May 2020 there will be flights to Detroit, four days per week: every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will depart from Munich at 12:40 PM and land at 3:45 PM. The return flight will leave Detroit at 5:35 PM arriving in Munich next day at 7:45 AM.
Starting 31st of March 2020, Lufthansa will add a new Asian destination, Bangalore. The flight will depart from Munich five times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It will leave from Munich at 11:55 AM and arrive in Bangalore next day at 0:05 AM. The return flight will take off in Bangalore at 1:45 AM and land in Germany at 7:30 AM.
The German Group will use Airbus A350-900 for these three destinations. In addition, the Lufthansa Group will add 2 other US destinations: Las Vegas and Orlando. But the flights will be operated by Eurowings with Airbus A330.
As of 6th of April 2020, Eurowings will fly to Las Vegas twice a week, every Monday and Friday. The flight will take off in Munich at 11:45 AM landing in Las Vegas at 2:40 PM. The return flight will leave Las Vegas at 4:30 PM arriving in the Bavarian capital the next day at 12:55 PM. These summer connections add to the regular Lufthansa flights from Frankfurt to Las Vegas, three times a week.
As of 7th of April 2020, Eurowings will fly to Orlando three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The flight will depart from Munich at 9:10 AM and land in Florida at 1:55 PM. The return flight will take off from Orlando at 3:45 PM and arrive in Germany next day at 7:20 AM.
New destinations from Frankfurt (FRA)
Beginning 29th of April 2020, Eurowings will fly to Arizona / Phoenix five times a week. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednedays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight will leave Frankfurt at 2:05 PM and arrive at destination at 5:05 PM. The return flight will take off in Phoenix at 6:55 PM and arrive in Frankfurt at 3:05 PM the next day.
Beginning on 1st of June 2020, Eurowings will fly to new summer destination: Anchorage, State of Alaska. The operator will fly three times a week, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. It will take off in Frankfurt at 10:30 AM and land in Anchorage at 11:55 AM. The return flight will depart at 1:55 PM from Alaska, arriving in Frankfurt at 10:45 AM the next morning.
