KLM Royal Dutch Airlines plans to move its departments from Amstelveen, their current location, to new campus in Schiphol-East. The Blue Base and will measure around 35,000 m2.
The new facility will be close to KLM’s existing Operations Control Centre (OCC) and will offer staff optimal working environment. All teams and departments will cooperate fast and easy and will be more efficient.
The project will be done no sooner than 2024. The Blue Base project team started designing the new location. ]
According to KLM analysts, all researches showed that reconstruction of the current headquarter in Amstelveen was not a logical solution, therefore the new project, named Blue Base, takes shape.
